New Squad server on the horizon

tbh i'm really happy we are not in a Coalition with 508 & NG. & really it wasnt as we never had a say in anything.
from 508 putting Invasion which everyone knows is a server killer & to NG quiet clearly rule breaking. I.E putting mines right out side the base. but if anyone els did it then it was not ok. I personally think we was the black sheep on the Coalition, we voiced our concerns but was ignored. as for our own server we don't have the player base to seed. like back in the day with 15/20 players we would seed 2+ hours and woudnt get a full server. so i'm with the rest of the guys when i say its better to play on a white list server. & like everyone is saying.

Thanks @ProvokedPrawn very kind gesture of you buddy.....as stated earlier if Squad was like Sandstorm where you only need 10 players to fill a server we would be a smashing success and it would be easy for us to fill an EBS squad server. Unfortunately the game needs 80 players to be full and fun, so that means unless you have 50 regular players you wont get it seeded and at EBS we only ever had 10-15 players hence why we grouped together with 3 other communities, and actually it was a success for 6 months where our joint server got into top 30 out of 420 servers globally so I am happy for that. NG, ZXD, Spec Ops, DK, OWL's have gotten together to launch a new server and I hope they will be successful because they have many wonderful squad players but like we stated earlier this game is still in alpha release after 5 years....so where it goes I dont know. I have enjoyed the game for 1850 hours so I can put my hand on my chest and say "good value for £15.99 sale in May 2017.

Squad will never die,

Massive scale Tactical Team based games like this one fill a niche that other games don't, I have 3400 hrs in game and counting, It doesn't matter whether the game gets a final release or not, people will play it again and again, lets not forget the people who are involved in modding this game, it brings fresh new maps and gear to the Battlefield, look how popular the Canadian Faction is eh!, that is reason enough for Squad to have a long life.

It is sad that the server went down, I enjoyed my time with everyone and I was also there to help seed whenever possible.
