Not really BF2042 but the deprecation of the old Origin app coincided with the latest update.
Since updating, four of my games are whinging about being not having keys. The only issue is I don’t know what they are as it just gives the message “DisplayName missing from registry”.
Typical EA f@&k up AND looking on the forums it’s been an ongoing bug. If you can avoid it, don’t update! I’ve got an old installer for the Origin client so will be going back to that.
