This game and probably the franchise is dead to me.

Re: Battlefield V News
It has been dead to me for considerably longer than that! But why now Bill, what was the final straw?

Re: Battlefield V News
Nobody seems to want to play to the objective anymore, you're either on a side that does and wipes the floor with the opposition or you're on side of muppets where only 1 or 2 squads are making an effort.
Very rarely do we find a server where the sides are evenly matched and they are the great matches.

Re: Battlefield V News
Yep. Without dedicated servers and admin rights the flavour of the game is determined by the majority, and the game has been constructed so as to invite plonkers who want instant gratification without patience. It's been that way for a long time. As soon as they went the way of COD it was all over. There is a way back, but they show no intention of going that way. Their pc community base is gone, us along with it.

Re: Battlefield V News
So sad that the franchise which gave rise to the inception of this community has not lasted along with it. When you consider that we used to have COD servers and enjoyed that game too as something different to BF it's even more sad. BF ins't COD, and it isn't BF any longer either. It just, is. Whatever that is. ?
RIP BF.
RIP BF.

Well, I've freed up about 90gig of crap off my system drive by uninstalling it, that's more space than the porn.

Re: Battlefield V News
I agree, although I have next to no interaction with you all of late, on any game / discussions, real life and old age has crept up on me , but when I first met you all it had to have been 15 years ago , I enjoyed the cod servers and the way you played, but at that time if some of you remember I was a serious battlefield war arranger for several serious clans that liked to play battlefield in competition etc , looking back I seriously DON'T know how I ever did it, but after I "retired" from clan and war arranging life , I enjoyed playing battlefield on your dedicated servers , as you played in a serious manner and used teamwork , so I finally gave in and joined officially, but alas as bill said without a dedicated server its now a bit pointless trying to play bfv as they say there's no I in team, and most players play for themselves. I it a sad demise for the BF series and a sad demise for EBS as it has indirectly split the membership up, as there is NO joint game that brings the members together any more, yes we have sand storm but I don't join as we have TOO many members trying to get on one server and I am unable to use comms (due to the lungs, or lack of them) and IF I tried to join although I know someone would makes a spot for me , I hate pushing some one out when they were happily playing a game. as I understand it you can still ge a dedicated bf4 server, so let me know if you do and I would jump on it with you minus the comms but I would at least know the TEAM would still be working together. final note I hope you are ALL keeping well as I am , just knackered most of the time but ok.
