Re: linux issue maybe?
So the possible solution to him being able to join the server again is for us to disable the easy anti cheat (EAC). Which might be the cause of him getting kicked due to incompatibility with linux.
I'm hypothesising here based on what he messaged you.

It's not as though we'll disable our anti cheat for one guy.

Nope, so long memebers don't running into trouble connecting to the server leave it be. Let's hope NWI fixes this issue soon.

Redaction and Confirmation of Null Commitments
In the previous SoP, I had mentioned that we were re-evaluating our roadmap that was drafted earlier in the year. It was a very long and thorough meeting, but we emerged with a clearer picture of what we were and were not able to commit to in the new year. I know many users across various mediums have been asking us about some of these originally-promised features for some time, and I want to speak on the things that we will not be committing development time towards in our path forward. Here are the features we have decided do not make business sense for us to pursue in the future:
Story mode/Campaign
Mac Support
Linux Support
Local Play on PvP modes
Weapons on Back
New foregrip upgrade options

Hi all, we have spent the last few days speaking with our account rep at Steam to arrange a temporary exemption to their refund policy as a goodwill gesture to players who may have mistakenly purchased the game despite Linux not being a supported OS.
I have yet to have a formal response from their refunds department, however, our account rep has requested an exemption and it seems like refunds are now being processed. If anyone has issues please contact our support team at support.newworldinteractive.com
We are also aiming to make a post explaining our reasons for native Linux support no longer being a post-release goal of ours, which should be out next week.
