What's your most commonly used kit and why?
What's your preferred setup and why?

I like to use a 1x because it makes spraying that much easier on the closer maps. I like the 2x with a lazer for spraying. I don't go above a 2 any more, I just don't feel any versatility with it.

Using the Gunner kit almost all the time if no extra obs is needed
Unless the PKM has much more recoil than the M249 and only 100 rounds per box it has by far bigger bullets what means if you hit the bot is taken out of the game mostly every time
Using the 2x Kobra sope + laser sight for infights

I'm a massive fan of the FAL. 2x dot. with the extended mag / foregrip / compensator.

Still love the makrov.

Security: M16 w/1.5x sight, drum, silencer. Foregrip normally or UGL if I'm demoman. The new pistol with comp, laser & mag. As many grenades as I can carry.

Ins: Same as security, trading in an AK74 and M9 with the same addons.

Last point: AK74 w/No sight or 1x Kobra, foregrip, compensator, drum. Full new pistol or M9, all the incendiaries.

I'm starting to appreciate the comp as opposed to suppressor for spray. I don't suppress my pistol any more.

I find the suppressor's threat-reducing effect much more useful than the recoil adjustment. I suspect it's part of why I tend to last quite a long time.

I usually play Observer if it's available/needed, otherwise Rifleman or Advisor. Prefer the light rifles, M4/M16/AK74/Alpha AK with a 1x Kobra, laser and foregrip. I read somewhere that bots will magically know where you are whenever you don't have a suppressor equipped, even if you aren't shooting, so I've traded the comp for one of those. Seems to be working! I used to think the drum mags were a bit of a gimmick because they reload kinda slow, but warming up to them: you can bump a light guns ammo from 90 to 150 rounds with only a 3% weight increase, whereas a light carrier is ~14% for the same result. I like to keep weight down as much as possible for the movement/ADS speed advantage.

For pistols I go with the Glock for results, M1911 for fun. The M9 or Browning HP with an extended mag is a good Glock alternative for the Insurgent team. Not a fan of the Makarov anymore due to it's smaller mag - only 12 extended Quickdraw holster is a must for me, then a suppressor/laser if I have the points.

I don't bother spawning with grenades/ordinance, just pick them up off the ground. I never go above a light carrier for the weight, and try to avoid one altogether if I can. Same with armour. I feel like a lot of my deaths would not have been prevented by armour anyway, so I save on the points/weight.

Mosin + greased bolt + stripper clips. Makarov. Suppress them if needed. Nothing else. >:)

Breacher is my goto class. MP5/MP7 suppressed, C4, 2 incendiaries, 2X kobra sight. M9 pistol, compensator. Heavy Armor, Large backpack. Prefer the close quarter engagements. Will usually push a flank far wide and come in to support the centre after picking a few off.

I am a massive fan of the fal with 1x kobra, I just feel comfortable with it and i get used to having to hit most bots twice with it too.
also I love having a bit of fun with the shotgun, silenced, extra mag with 1x cobra too a one shot kill gun even at distance but the down side is reloading.

M16 silenced, lazer, 1x kobra, underslung GL
30 round pistol, lazer, compensator for making noise in conjunction with "taunt" to attract enemy as required.
RPG. Dont' forget to load the extra round before you leave the resupply point!
