Did anyone see some rubberbanding recently, even after playing a long time with a good amount (6+players ) after one of the auto server restarts?
Me not tbh.
If you guys didn´t see that also maybe we should stop the auto reset, because it apears that often the starts come in in a period of a full saturated server, and after that it takes a long time bevore it is seeded again.
Maybe it is a good idea to just have one auto start a day, very early in the morning, (thinking of 4am UTC) and the rest only on call if it is needed

Taran has decided that he doesn't want to run the server for the good of the community any longer. He has discontinued the server, and as far as I can see, left the community.
Until DD returns to us I don't see what can be done about getting a new one unless @kentone can stand one up on his own.
Do we have the player base to make it worth continuing our own server? The funds are available if we have the numbers.

He wouldn't allow age to pay for the server out of EBS funds, and wouldn't apply community bans. He wanted to run the server himself his own way. That's fair enough if he's paying, but if that's the case then it's not an EBS server is it? After discussing it with me he acknowledged my point then told me the next day that he would not change it. So that was that. He has not been excluded from the community but it's clear that he thinks it should be run differently so there is little point in remaining.

I only enquired as it's unfortunate that sandstorm for some reason doesn't work on my PC or I would be playing it and would have known the reason, but despite checking the forums several times a day, I had not seen anything about Taran or his reason for leaving.

As you should have realised by now mate, we play down the negatives. No point in shouting about shit, right? It was a blow as he was a useful member, but he wasn't happy with the way we run it and wanted things to change. Well we're here for us who like it how it is, so that's not an option. If someone doesn't like EBS the way it is then there are plenty of other communities or another can be started. We are what we are. Ever onwards we go.
