Re: Partnership with German Squad Gaming [GSG]
I am supportive of this initiative as well. The more whitelists the merrier.
Re: Partnership with German Squad Gaming [GSG]
Not as many responses as i hoped for, but it is what it is.
I will give Ray our list with all the ebs squad players so we get the whitelist for the testing phase. After that we will have a meeting with them. I hope everyone who would like is able to attend to ask questions or give individual feedback. The date is not fixed yet - i will keep you updated!

I think this is great news!
I'd give you my Steam ID but I don't play Squad as often as I should to warrant it.

Fall forward. Sometimes, it’s the best way to figure out where you’re going. Never be discouraged, never hold back, give everything you got, and when you fall throughout life remember this: fall forward. Denzil Washington

Re: Partnership with German Squad Gaming [GSG]
@Allana We tried to help seed GSG this morning. Even if I drank a bottle scotch whiskey and shot myself with 10ml of of heroin I wouldn't be able to understand their seeding rules....first they complained we build a radio 130 meters from middle flag and they told us it has to be 150 meters (we were 15 players on server) ....come on that's just too petty. Secondly in seeding they are allowed to attack all flags and not just fight over the middle flag so basically its a mini live game. Then why call it seeding?
We all left today as it just felt like they were making rules on the fly that didnt make any sense. How can you complain about a radio being too close to central flag (by 20 meters) and then allow players to attack and cap all flags......it just doesn't make any sense. This to me looks like rules by inexperienced players who haven't played much squad since 2016 and are acting out really petty stuff that makes no difference to game play. I understand it you need very little tolerance when building space rocket but not for seeing a server with 15 players on it. You can run those 20 meters from our hab in 3 seconds it really doesnt make a difference.

@knightmorphed
I seeded with them yesterday and was surprised by their seeding rules. From what I heard from you they play with the same rules every time. Its different than any other seeding. I had to get used to it. But then I told myself - why not like this? Who said the "normal" seeding rules are the right one and this is bad?
I totally see that it's not to everyones liking.
@Ztranier If you are interested in playing there also, I will gladly add you to the whitelist list. If you wont play later, I dont think it's worth it tbh. Ofc are you always welcome to help seeding. But as seeding isn't a problem for them (at least from what i know so far) you dont have to put too much energy into it.
All in all I would recomend we write our experiances down here so we can reread it when it's time to discuss with GSG.
@Fuchs Would you write down your experiences from yesterday? With the name of the not very nice comander so we wont forget about it?
I left a message in their discord yesterday about how unbalanced it was and how neither admins nor parter clan cared. I am curious if (and how) they react on it.

Re: Partnership with German Squad Gaming [GSG]
Discord reaction of GSG:
They say they care a lot about balance but that it has been hard lately to have balanced matches. They assured (or Schulze did) that admins and parter clans try to balance.
Knightmorphed wrote in our discord that they did some balancing after i left. So that is good.
I am also in contact with them to update their seeding rules by adding the rule about all flags open. Hopefully it will cuase less confusen like that.
