PvP?
I was playing a spot of PvP Firefight the other day. It was a lot of fun, very tense at times, a quite different experience to Co-op. Much more emphasis on sound and managing your footsteps! Also good banter by listening to and speaking with the enemy over proximity voip. It reminds me of when we used to play PvP nights on the vanilla Insurgency.
Now we have the awesome new server (thanks @kentone et al) that can switch presets very easily, is anyone else interested in having such nights again?

Re: PvP?
tbh @peglegswansoon , from what i remember we tried to establish a fixed day and time for PvP twice and haven´t been able to fill the INS server 3 consecutive weeks in a row both times even with loads of official and inofficial mentions on all sorts of social plattforms like discord and steam
so i don´t think it will work as a fixed fixture on our Sandstorm server
the only way i see,it could become a thing, is the moment when a bunch of EBS players are having a chat whilest playing, and an admin god has time to change the settings forward and backwards without breaking the default settings, it could become a single hit wonder

Re: PvP?
would be fun to try to be honest. Players are less predictable than the bots.

Re: PvP?
Yeah, I think it should be done like an special event, and being announced before for some pubbies to come, and maybe take a match or two then go back to coop
Re: PvP?
I like the idea of it, haven't really been much into pvp before but it's always nice to dabble in "new" ish things

Re: PvP?
There is no reason we shouldn't.
Prepare yourselves though. It takes a week of telling everyone all the time that it's going to happen. All the regulars need to know at least a week in advance. We must message people in steam and discord and spread the word. Then it will work. We can do it as a one-off to start with and see how much support it gets.

Re: PvP?
We can set up one of the rotating messages that pop up in the server to mention it will be happening
I survived the great server crash (23/10/2018)
