Came here to talk BF6

Post by Projectblue »

Not one post about experiences with the Beta?

I will buy it.
I will hope it's good.
I will get my arse handed to me as usual.
I will run away crying and go back to something easier :D

I did, on my intro page.

Right, here we go, played the 2nd weekend of the BF6 beta and i was impressed, not with standing that my PC shouldn't be able to run it, never the less really enjoyed it, two or three older members will hate it though.
It ran as smooth as silk, matchmaking seemed to work, the balance sometimes was a bit one sided, but i noticed that was when console players were on my side and they hadn't got a clue.
No more of the bullshit sprint for miles of the last 3 games and grenades are hit and miss, bunny hoppers just jump up and down in front of you (console guys again) and completely miss killing you, the shot gun however was way over powered, you can actually snipe with the thing.
Medics, on the whole revived you if they could and engineers re-paired when it was safe.
Now, i know i would never buy 2042, but i couldn't resist at just over 2 quid, my thoughts, ITS A COMPLETE PILE OF FUCKING SHITE, AND SHOULDV'E BEEN JUST A REALEASE ON CONSOLE.

Why the fk would I read your intro? you've been here forever - reading your intro would be like stopping to look at the front door of the office. It's old, craggy and depresses me when I encounter it :D :D

In all seriousness, I'm glad you liked it. Makes me feel a bit more confident. Match making consoles though? fk that.

What was it about the game that made you think certain older members wouldn't like it?

As much as I enjoy Insurgency, the prospect of tanks and helicopters plus collapsing buildings on people does get me excited.

I'm happy it has a single player! Slightly miffed about the lack of community servers thought (Portal doesn't quite cut it).

I enjoyed playing the Beta and was intending on buying it. As it happens though, I managed to win a free game key so I guess I better play it :P
I'm attending Epic.Lan at the end of October, at which they normally give away free game keys. If I manage to secure anymore I'll put them up for grabs here ;)
