We love building and maintaining this community with you, and it’s generated countless hours of fun and (literal) games. Like all good things, keeping it running takes a bit of behind-the-scenes effort (and yep, actual money).

Just as a word of note, I have no idea what happens if you donate in a different currency to GBP. I may get all of it although I might not. Only the PayPal gods know the answer.

Just donated some, and might be able to get some insight:
I took in what I wanted in my local currency. PayPal did the conversion, and a little fee (even with the family and friends thing), and I paid in local currency.

Reading up on this, if you have a PayPal account, transfer the money in and then send the donation.

Well I've got my bank linked to my PayPal so all I have to do is select that and that's it really. It's all quite easy. Just put in the amount of £ and it wil convert tou your local currency. Another option as a PayPal alternative would be setting up a Revolut and use that through PMs only or something the like

Elon claims he was one of the founders but thankfully, he wasn’t! That said, he was CEO for a time. I definitely share your sentiment!

He was CEO after Confinity merged with his X.com but he was ousted from the job within the same year as the merger.
