@Allana I try my best to recall the evening as good as I can:

Tl;dr : Good teamwork, bad balancing, and hostile/toxic way dealing with feedback.

The setting:
We played on the 16.07 roughly 4 maybe 5 matches where I was SL-ing. [BF] Schulz was the commander. All in all the coordination between the Squads was top and we had some very cool Squadmates all rounds through. Every game our side had more clan/community tags then the other in the last game we had all of them on our side (roughly 4 full squads).

The problematic situations:
First: We asked for balance. Orders from command were given to switch over two squads. The next round still wasn't balanced and the one after that was even worse.
Second: Since we roled the other side every round defense was lacking. [BF] Schulz called that out by saying "Ich find das ja immer wieder lustig. Wir spielen Squad ja alle schon ein paar Stunden. Muss euch der Commander wirklich jedes Mal sagen, dass jemand auf der Defense bleiben soll?! Ich hab dadurch schon so einige Games verloren!" ENG Version "I think it is very funny that you all played some hours of Squad. Do you still need the Commander to tell you to stay on Defense?! There is no one on Defense. In the past I lost some games to that"(Not exactly his words but as close as I can recall them)
Third: Two SLs were discussing/arguing something in Command chat. [BF] Schulz stepped in with the words "Wenn ihr euer Eier Vergleichen wollt geht COD spielen, das hier ist Squad." "If you wanna compare your balls go play COD. This is Squad."

My Thoughts on it:
I need more Games to see how common this behaviour is. If it is to common I won't continue playing there. So far I had some good experiences and some bad ones. With people wearing clan tags being the worst and "blueberries" the majority being the best (polite, curious, attentive, It is fun to lead and cooperate with them).
The Balancing was not effective so far because we had two [BF] Squads on our side, they should have split but stayed on the same side. Especially after the first balancing didn't help at all.
I don't like the feedback culture depiced by two of the situations above. It is not directed to helping people getting better (especially important for new players), nor is it effective.

I am affraid that these people combine the worst traits that I hate about German Clan mentality (generalization based purely on my own experience):
"Rules are Rules", more important then anything else even when not sensible or worse harmful. Constantly calling them out and getting a kick out of it "I am better then you because I know the rules / You are less worthy and that shows because you don't follow the rules in the way I understand them". "Well at least when I am not the person who is doing the rule breaking, because then it is not sooo important". Solving the problem is not important / they already did solve the problem because the rules aren't violated, even tho it didn't solve the problem. So missing pragmatism?
Toxic feedback culture, meaning that when someone does something not good it is not done with "Hey could you do x, because y" no no no you need to give feedback as insulting as possible and cynical in combination with a tone that shows everyone that you are the superior human being (yuk).

Darvish and Nuzzi played on GSG but didnt get much English support in SL chat .....they kept speaking German so decided to switch to Exodus...which reminds maybe EBS should try and get whitelisted on some English speaking server?

Have we looked into setting our own UK based server in Squad? If it is feasible then wouldn't it be worth our time so then we can dictate rules on seeding, toxic and unsportsman like behaviour. Just a thought.

EDIT;
I have looked online to see about renting a dedicated server. Here is the link.

Dont worry brotherman back in 2019 we had a very successful server with 508, NG and EBS which ran for 8 months and got to a top 25 slot across all 450 Squad servers globally. The challenge is to seed a server you need 50 regular players and EBS has never had more than 10 regular players so we are way too small to run our own server. Look at NG, DSC and SG they have over 1.2K members and still struggle with seeding.....it takes a tremendous amount of effort to run a server and we just don't have the numbers....

I haven't heard from them since I gave them our steamids for whitelist. From what I saw the last week, ppl werent playing on the server.

How is the general feeling about beeing a partner of GSG? I had some talks about it with Fuchs, but only him.
So I am curious about other opinions.
