So a bit of an update. I have just completed the main game - the storyline. I've done maybe 50% of the side missions, but not even explored the whole map. Watching the credits roll i am seeing scenary that i havent seen at all, anywhere.

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing it and it constantly makes me laugh with some seriously beautifully written satire. I have played it off and on for nearly two months (including christmas break when it got played a lot) for a total of 59 hours according to the stats. The game froze a total of 2 times and there was one glitch (ps3).

I've explored the online aspect, and its seamless transition from the game out to online and back. There are multiple missions in there plus the online world of PvsP.

In short this has to be one of the most polished, fully imersive games I have ever played. There are so many little touches, and daft elements that make you giggle. For instance, the AI the cops have is dumbed down a little, so you can wwhizz past at high speed on your way from a-b. however pull up next to them at a set of traffic lights and either wheelspin or beep your horn and they will drag you from your car or chase you. I was stood contemplating tactics for a mission when I watched a bus clip a cop car in a random accident (both ai, only me playing just in the game, not on the net) and the cop lights up and using PA shouts "stop now asshole". The bus driver shouts something back, the cop starts shooting and then the bus f***s off, with passengers, with cops chasing. Ok, it's all part of the programming of how one bit deals with another (def not set piece) but it was hilarious.

Whatever scale you would use to rate games before this, it gets one more than any other game, ever.

Even If you aren't a fan of GTA you should still consider it, because it is just so accomplished.

So DICE, if you want to know what a finished game should be like, because you sure as shit didn't know with BF4, go buy a copy of GTA V mother f***ers.
