Does your PC have a built in motherboard monitor output, if so plug your monitor into that and see If you get a signal.

Remove all your RAM modules and insert them all back properly.... if this won't help remove them all again and only use one of them in the first slot. If it won't help, try doing it with another one. I think most likely one of your RAM modules is not properly in place or broken.

Before doing this whole RAM-thing, you might want to try removing your gfx card first and put it back into the slot properly.
This kind of error you described most likely happens when something is not placed properly in its slot, maybe because of some kind of concussion that happened. GL

start at the beginning, was it fine the last time you used it? any odd stuff going on if so like what? if as you say it "sounds " like its firing up then its not your psu so the next choice is probably graphics, so turn it OFF and take the side of the case off , go and PLAY WITH THE BATHROOM TAPS, to make sure you don't have any static on you, then start by as someone else said ,IF you have onboard graphic try plugging that in first and if you get a signal then its definatly a new graphic card, if theres no signal then try removing your card (carefully ) and push it back in, sometimes you get a slight carbon build up on the pickups and by removing and putting it back can clear that problem, then if this still don't work try the memory sticks option as someone else has also said. or if you have a good mate who would lend you a spare psu to try
