I wonder if they’ll have ships and subs like in 1942.

Grumpy old git!!! I don't care what's in the game, I just wanted to give a short history lesson :blah:
And so you should, as should Ztrainer give his opinion. That's the point of debate, nobody was insulting anybody, it was just discussion. I saw no malice in any comments.

Weapons of war have individual advantages and disadvantages, all need a commander to displace them to the correct advantage in the battlefield. There are pro's and con's to each and every tank and apologies to Toks, I've not had the time to read to much into this as you have. But as I say, a commander would use their tanks in the best way to provoke the best use of the weapons they have in their disposal.

My point is this, discussion is good, keep it up but keep it at a level that is worthy of a good debate.

Now as Bill says, this is the BFV discussion, let's keep it on track please chaps.

Remember - Do not deviate from the topic. Deviation is futile.

Sort of on topic Battlefield V? So they went from BF4 to BF1 - but to distinguish it from following on from BF4 they use Roman numbering of V for 5 which misses II, III and IV completely. Luckily as die hard BF fans and desperately wanting to revisit WW2 we will purchase it anyway.

Who is one to question EA’s logic. Remember BF1942 was technically BF1 and between BF2 and BF3 came Vietnam, BF2142 and the Bad Company games. Between BF4 and BF1 came Hardline. You could therefore argue (not including the console only Modern Combat and Battlefield Heroes), the next Battlefield should be 10 or X.

But then look at Microsoft, they’ve done it too.
