350w is the minimum for that card but of course, I’d recommend 650 plus!

i think you didn´t read the link Bill sended earlier Zealous,
the 950 itselfs already requires 380W, so a 350W PSU won´t work!!

You need to optimise efficiency for your average max load since that's when your power bill will be hit the hardest.

Ideally, under typical gaming load, the PSU should be at around 50% load, where it is typically most efficient. At lower usage levels (i.e. system is idle), the PSU is less efficient but the lower power draw at idle negates that inefficiency.

Bill's link shows you your GPU's min requirements; you also need to account for drives, LEDs, CPU, motherboard, peripherals, fans, etc etc.I would say you need at least a 700 watt PSU, but I would go for an 850 watt to give you greater efficiency at peak loads (not to mention the PSU fans will be quieter.

At the moment I have a GTX 1080, 7700k CPU overclocked, three drives, LEDs, LED fans, and my PSU fan comes on when gaming or benchmarking - this is before USB peripherals such as webcam, mic, keyboard, mouse, document scanner and Raspberry Pi. I really ought to have an 850+ watt PSU, but at the moment it's 750 watts which doesn't leave me with a massive amount of headroom.

Corsair PSUs are very good and efficient. SeaSonic and SuperFlower are also very, very good. Don't skimp on your power supply - perhaps jump on those Black Friday sales if you can wait that long! In the meantime, you can turn down your graphics settings to tide you over.
