I bought a bundle from Novatech. There might have been a possibility I did something wrong. It didn't work, I sent it back, they sent me a new one.
I'm now typing via said PC

Their builds are sensibly specced. This one's about a grand, a good 1080p gaming rig, doesn't say what brand of storage they use though:

Hello everyone, since you are so well versed in the upgrade of PC, maybe you will help me a bit too?)
Actually, my request will be pretty simple - I have an old PC that I would like to improve. I do not understand this stuff at all, so I hope for advice from you. I was advised to replace my HDD with SSD by my friends. Is it worth it? Will such a substitute improve performance?
The characteristics of my PC are following:
Processor: 2 cores at 2.9 GHz
RAM: 4 gigs of RAM DDR3
Winchester: 500gb
Video card: 1gb
Is it possible to upgrade it? And if the answer is "yes", how?
I was advised to replace my HDD with SSD by my friends. Is it worth it? Will such a substitute improve performance? I do not quite understand because the performance of games is depended on a video card, is not it? I'm here looked through on the Internet about SSD cards, there are a lot of them from different manufacturers and different capacity. What capacity of SSD do I need to take? Is it must be the same as on a hard drive of 500 GB? I watched reviews on several sites that I was recommended:
http://www.techradar.com/news/best-soli ... rives-ssds
https://www.bestadvisers.co.uk/ssds
But as for me, SSD for 500 GB is too expensive. I will also be grateful for the tips not only about the replacement of SSD fo raising the performance of my old man)
If you need some more Information about my PC to give me recommendations - ask to I`ll try to answer as quickly as possible)

It all depends on what you want to do with it, if you are thinking of playing, lets say for example BF1, you need at least Windows 10 64bit.

I went with PC Specialist. Very easy to use website, loads of options and customization, great customer service.
