i think the points you can get depends on the overall performance of you PC, the faster you can finish a WU the more credits you get

I know GPU WUs are worth more than CPU WUs. The GPU is better at processing WUs because, unless you're playing a game (why would you do this when you're folding), it's not doing other things at the same time!

i am folding on full 6-12 hrs a day with a rtx 2070 and an old i7 cpu/16gb ram 833hz and my wu credit avarage is under 30k

This varies, of course, on the speed of the computer and the size of the protein under study. Depending on the protein and the properties studied, different size work units may be used. The Project Summary page has information on particular proteins’ sizes and the deadlines allotted for completion.
