Re: Hardspace Shipbreakers

Breaking things is always more fun than building things. SMASH! My only complaint is that sometimes the physics goes a bit...squiffy. Just like in other games really; you try to gently pick something up and it suddenly shoots across the room. Of course, this is most often seen with things like fuel ...

Hardspace Shipbreakers

I picked this up after seeing a couple of videos and am really enjoying it. It's a bit like space engineers in reverse; you start with a ship and systematically rip it apart. It's a bit Zen, similar to ETS2 in that you can pretty much put your mind into a low gear and just hack away. There are two v...

Re: Anticipated Games 2020

I can live with that. I'd rather it come out polished than a buggy mess; it'll be good at the same time either way, but this way won't have its first impression trashed.

Re: BF3 remastered?

3 was the last battlefield I played, and I enjoyed it. It'd be nice to see it again, just hopefully without any 'surprise mechanics' added in.

Re: Noob PC question

Warlock is right, any office application and most basic desktop applications like web browsers can be operated on dedicated graphics. Might take longer to load shit like YouTube but it'll be fine and the most up to date USB is 3.1 at the moment. Think you meant integrated there :) and with the last...

Re: Free GTA V

Interestingly i just reinstalled gtav the other day to start another playthrough. I've never done the online heists so if a few of you fancy giving them a go that'd be fun.

Another test phase has opened up; I'm downloading the new version right now. Ping me on Discord if anyone's up for some shootyshooting.

Re: Where to purchase Windows 10 Pro

First thing to do before you buy another licence is to punch in any old Win7 or newer keys you may have and just seeing if they work; the free upgrade system still works in a lot of cases. All the £100 ones on Amazon look iffy as hell to me; they stray too close to the 'too good to be true' line and...

How's gaming on Linux lately? I saw on LTT that things were looking pretty positive on that front, and it's about the only thing holding me back.

Re: Prepare to be Commanded and Conquered

I think back in the day when I was playing RA2 on 56k, I was exclusively a comp stomper. Competitive just never appealed to me. I enjoy being a bit of a sadist on RTS' and picking my enemy apart piece by piece with a few small forces. That doesn't work against wetware opponents.
